Formal and informal psychological and educational assessments are completed to obtain information needed for decisions about screening, classification, placement, services needed, and interventions. School psychologists participate on multidisciplinary teams as a part of this process.
Academic planning and advisory services are available to assist in designing, developing and implementing educational programs and planning behavioral strategies for schools or individual students. Consultation services provide direct communication with parents, teachers, and administrators.
Currently, four school psychologists and four psych examiners are available to assist in testing and providing services to students with mental or developmental delays; learning disabilities; emotional, social or behavior difficulties.
